Timothy Brown is the Associate Artistic Director of Blue Roses Productions and a member of the New Circle Theater Company based in Manhattan. His produced plays include The Julia Set, The Reality Is..., The Persistence of Memory, Bottle of Red and Twelve Minutes After Midnight. His critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Tennessee Williams' short story "A Field of Blue Children" was performed at Manhattan Theater Source as part of the production Derelicts and Dreamers. Directing credits include Antigone, Moonchildren, The Bald Soprano, Biloxi Blues, Broadway Brown, Battle of AngelsA Streetcar Named Desire, Paper Lanterns,Truth in the Guise of Illusion and Fifth of July. Acting credits include Lord Byron in Camino Real, Jake in 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, Monk in Confessional, Lloyd in Mud, Tom in The Glass Menagerie, Two in I Can't Imagine Tomorrow  and Decius Brutus in Richard Harris'production of Julius Caesar.

 

He has enjoyed over 28 years of collaboration with his best friend and artistic partner Erma Duricko. He has participated in the Valdez Last Frontier Theater Conference eight times as an actor and director in their Theater Lab (founded by Michael Warren Powell) and as a sound designer for several of their evening productions directed by Erma Duricko. He was heavily involved with the Delta Tennessee Williams Festival in Clarksdale, MS directing full-length productions and acting in scenes for the local college. He enjoys working with established and emerging playwrights providing feedback and developing new plays in and around New York City. A life long musician, software developer, devoted to the craft of live theater and new American playwrights.
